材料说明
DUROPLAST: Phenolic based thermosetting materials which undergo
irreversible polymerization during molding.
DUROPLAST does not soften upon contact with a heat source, therefore it
is not damaged by the hot metal chips which could fall into contact with
Jergens Knobs, Handles, and Handwheels. The good insulation properties
of the Duroplast product mean that they are suitable for many electromechanical
applications and are preferable to similar metal products.
TECHNOPOLYMERS: Thermoplastic materials having highly desirable
mechanical properties such as acetal resins, polyamides, polypropylene,
polycarbonates and polyesters.
REINFORCED PLASTICS WITH GLASS FIBERS:
Used for all items requiring high mechanical strength (three spoked handwheels,
two and four arm type, crank handles, levers, balanced handles,
etc.)
All plastic materials used are resistant to acids, solvents, petroleum
products, grease and perspiration.
The surface hardness of these materials is the highest found in plastics.
This affords the preservation of surfaces, which remain in perfect condition
even when in prolonged contact with hot metal chips during machining
or with hot abrasive granules from grinding wheels.
The high heat resistance of these technopolymer materials enable our
Knobs, Handles, and Handwheels to be used at temperatures up to 300°F
without
appreciable impairment to their mechanical properties. Duroplast material
is
good up to 230°F.
